PINE BLUFFS - Early in this overly-long and thoroughly exhausting presidential campaign, Barack Hussein Obama had not had to work too hard. But then something unexpected happened. He began winning Democrat caucuses and primaries – against the “smartest woman in the world” Hillary Clinton, no less. After he reeled off a string of eleven consecutive wins, the Nation began to take notice.

          Who exactly is this black, charismatic figure? A compelling speaker, who keeps up a steady mantra of change, and appeals to the younger voters, especially college age kids who hardly know much about life much less politics and Obama’s socialist background, but were drawn to him like bees to honey. He was a fresh face and the new political darling of the moment. He’ll ride that wave all the way to the Democrat Party’s convention in August in the Mile High City, with the Rocky Mountains visible not fifty miles to the west, where he might emerge with a landslide of delegates tired of the Hillary and Bill Show, and fearful of four more years of a Clinton defense mode.

          There are some obvious problems with this man. For example, early in his campaign, he refused to salute the American flag. Later, he said in one of his campaign speeches that the United State was made up of 57 states – imagine what the major media would have done to any Republican who did or said either of those things. But there are other, less known facts in this man’s background, about which I’ll bet you’re unaware. And you’ll probably never hear them from the major media.

          Barack Hussein Obama was once a paid director of the Woods Fund, a Chicago-based non-profit which provided grants to the Arab American Network (he operated the Woods Fund with convicted domestic terrorist William C. Ayers). The Arab American Network repaid Obama by making contributions to his senatorial campaign under the name “Friends of Obama.”

          Is foreign cash is illegally finding its way into the Obama campaign? The last thing we need is to have Islamic nations influencing our presidential election, but I suspect that is happening.

          From his radical stance on abortion to his prominence in the corruption scandals that have been virtually ignored by the mainstream media, Barack Obama is a product of Chicago’s and Cook County, Illinois’ infamous political systems. The only state where politics is dirtier is, arguably, Maryland. My point is that Obama is not fit to be a Senator – let alone the next President of the United States.

          Obama has declared his presidential intentions, but it is up to well-informed and involved conservatives like us to spare our nation from the scourge of a far-left President.

          In June 2008, Republican presidential candidate Senator John McCain said this:

          I agree with John McCain on this. Do you?
